Pedagogical assistant wanted for Mårslet Skovbørnehus

37 h/week – with nature, play and children's well-being at the center

Who are we? At Mårslet Skovbørnehus you will become part of a nursery where outdoor life has a very special place. We are outdoors year-round and place great emphasis on giving the children the opportunity to experience the world and get to know it – both with the body and with the mind.

Mårslet Skovbørnehus consists of two baby groups and three preschool groups. We are 11 teachers and two fixed helpers as well as students and substitutes. We are a close-knit group of colleagues because people stay here for a long time. We see this as a major strength, and there is room for you as well.

With us there is room for you, your ideas and the experiences and competences you bring with you from your life. Your background is less important. The most important thing is that you want to work with children and be part of a community where we together create good days for the children.

We prioritize professional sparring and have a culture where we are curious about how we can create even better days for the children – while also taking care of the good working environment and each other as colleagues.

We help you settle well into the pedagogical work. In return we expect you to put yourself into play, share your perspectives and help us to spot our blind spots and the opportunities we may not yet have discovered.

Pedagogy with a focus on the children Our pedagogical practice starts from each individual child's prerequisites and opportunities to participate. At the same time we believe that the community holds great strength, and that children develop through interaction with others.

We create learning through everyday activities, play, collaboration and shared experiences.

Nature is our framework, workspace and the children's play and development space.

You will work with our youngest preschool children You will become part of the Muslingerne , which is our group for the youngest preschool children aged 3-4 years.

This requires your ability to create safe relationships through calm, presence and care. You must be able to meet the children where they are and be attentive to their different needs and development levels.

Muslingerne is based in the kindergarten in Mårslet five days a week. Occasionally there is an opportunity to accompany the older children to our location in Mariendal near the coast.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination is made after negotiations with the bargaining-organized professional association based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary determination

Weekly working hours: 37 hours
