PAU for kindergarten and SFO

We are seeking a professional and relationship‑oriented pedagogical assistant for Nr. Felding School and Children's House

Do you want to help make a difference for children in both the after‑school program (SFO) and kindergarten?

We are looking for a professional, relationship‑oriented, creative and outgoing pedagogical assistant for a permanent 35‑hour position primarily in our kindergarten and the SFO.

We are looking for you who are active, full of ideas and passionate about creating inspiring and meaningful activities for children. You thrive with responsibility and want to lead the way both in the children’s community and in collaboration with parents, colleagues and management.

You will become part of a strong and engaged team consisting of four pedagogues, a PAU, four assistants and a deputy head, who together create a safe, inspiring and development‑oriented everyday life.

We have a close collaboration, where we help each other across tasks, disciplines and working hours with the community and the children’s well‑being at the center.

Your tasks

• You will help develop and implement broader child communities in our kindergarten.
• You will become an important part of our cohesive transition work from kindergarten to school, as we at Nr. Felding place great emphasis on this.
• Together with your colleagues and our deputy head you help develop the SFO and kindergarten, so that we have an exciting and meaningful offering with a focus on movement, outdoor life and creative activities.
• You will participate in SFO and kindergarten meetings where we talk about the children, the pedagogical content and how we best work with relationships and communities
• If you have something special you are passionate about, e.g. music, crafts or something completely different, we would very much like to put it into play.

We are a Village Scheme under Holstebro Municipality with joint leadership and co‑operation of the school, the SFO and the kindergarten. Nr. Felding School and Children’s House is located in the middle of an active local community close to Holstebro. We have beautiful and varied nature and a strong collaboration with the city’s associations.

We have an engaged staff of 28 employees distributed between school, kindergarten and SFO.

We have 90 schoolchildren, about 55 children in the SFO and 50 children in the kindergarten.

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
