We are seeking a pedagogical assistant for Kosmos Kindergarten from December 1, 2026.

Kosmos Kindergarten is part of the Childcare Institution South-South West, which consists of 9 kindergartens, with a shared top management and a daily pedagogical leader in each kindergarten. We are an age-integrated house with children aged 0-6 years.

We are seeking a pedagogical assistant for a position in the kindergarten in connection with capacity increase. In Kosmos we will have 36 toddlers aged 0-2.10 years. In the kindergarten we will have about 65-73 children aged 2.10-6 years.

You will become part of a Team consisting of educators, flex workers, student educators and other pedagogical assistants. We emphasize secure attachment, care, presence, as well as well-being, learning and development of each child in the social child communities.

Our pedagogical work takes its starting point in the “Strengthened Pedagogical Curriculum” as well as in our defined core task; communities in focus . In addition, inclusion, language, formation and early intervention are in focus in our planning of our learning environments. The pedagogical work with the children is structured, and the children are divided into smaller groups based on planned pedagogical activities and learning environments.

• someone who is affirming, clear, present and welcoming in their approach to children, parents and colleagues
• flexible in the house, and thus be where there is the greatest need around the children mainly in the kindergarten
• out in all kinds of weather, and who has good ideas for fun games and companionship with the children outdoors as well as indoors
• someone who can initiate pedagogical activities
• someone who can see, or be prepared to learn, where there is a daily need for you
• someone who can participate/see themselves where there are practical tasks that need to be done
• someone who can work independently and is good at collaborating
• someone who has the courage and desire to participate in our professional development of Kosmos
• someone who can take part in the practical aspects in close collaboration with the educators
