Snorregården seeks a present/engaged personal assistant for our nursery. Here you will be an important part of the community and contribute to the good childhood life – every day.

Short about us

Snorregården is a nursery with four groups, where we in each group have room for 12 children. At Snorregården we focus on the child’s perspective, and we always meet the children where they are and need it. We have a good and strong work community, and we all agree that we have an important job, and we succeed together.

We offer a fantastic house that houses pedagogical staff who absolutely always focus on creating the best framework for the good childhood life. Here care and presence are always in focus, and we use all rooms and corners of the house. We have a lovely playground, and all groups have access to it.

The position will be 17 hours per week, and the hours are fixed in the schedule. There will be opportunities for extra substitute hours as needed.

Who are you?

You possess abilities of empathy and presence, and you focus on the children's perspectives and meet them where they are. You are mindful to show the children you are available through your body language and your facial expression. You are positive and able to engage in your work. You are reliable, and you find the pedagogical field interesting, and you are good at offering your help.

Note

Being a personal assistant (PA) consists in you and the staff together solving the tasks the child care assistant position entails – including, and in particular, physical tasks e.g., help with tidying up, helping children with their outerwear, going on trips, helping children to the toilet/diaper changes etc. Moreover you must step in where it is deemed necessary.

Since you will work in a child environment, it is important that you see the position as more than just personal assistant to a colleague. The children will perceive you as a new adult in the room and see you as another caregiver and role model. Therefore it is important that you see yourself as a role model for the children, and that you focus on your relationship work with children, parents and colleagues.

Last but not least

In Snorregården we have prepared a welcome package when we welcome new colleagues into the house. Your welcome package will also focus on containing the tasks expected of you as a personal assistant.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local salary formation.

We need a personal assistant by January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The number of hours is 17 hours per week. The working hours are distributed between 7:00-17:00 and Friday 7:00-16:00.

For the interview we ask for consent to obtain child and criminal record checks as well as references.

Special terms of employment

You are employed as a personal assistant to an employee. It is a condition for the continuation of your employment that there is a grant. You resign from your position without further notice if the grant ceases or if the employee resigns from their position.
