Pedagogical assistants wanted for Kragelund Children's House

As our talented assistants will soon start studying, we are seeking engaged and caring pedagogy assistants for our day care, 37 hours per week.

Kragelund Børnehus is part of the Daycare Institution 3-Høje, which consists of three nursery houses: Skægkær Børnehus, Funder Kirkeby Børnehus and Kragelund Børnehus. However, organizational changes within the day care have just been decided, which means that Kragelund Børnehus from now on will become part of area 5 Kragelund and Funder.

Our pedagogical foundation consists of NEST and Strengthened Child Communities. Therefore we would like you to be ready to meet new ways of thinking about the good child life, and that you can contribute to this. We work from an appreciative approach and place high value on safety, well-being and development in our daily pedagogical work.

Kragelund Børnehus is a certified outdoor institution and is located in a scenic area in the western part of Silkeborg Municipality, with access to forest, fields and football pitches. We use nature and all the opportunities it provides daily, and we therefore hope that our new colleague can also contribute good ideas and experiences here. The nursery is well anchored in the local community and has good parent support with an active activities council. The institution is normed for 12 toddlers and 60 kindergarten children.

We are an engaged and professionally strong staff team that works closely together and places a high value on community – both among children and adults.

About you

• You have a natural interest in working with children, and an interest in developing yourself within the pedagogical field
• You are interested in nature and outdoor life, and are ready to be outside in all kinds of weather
• You are present, responsible and reliable
• You can contribute to creating safe and developmental environments for the children
• You can engage in close collaboration with the other staff and parents
• You can work independently and take initiative

Experience from working with children is an advantage – but not a requirement.

Salary and employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement and agreement on local pay formation. The position is 37 hours. Start as soon as possible.
