The Green Giraffe is seeking 1 professionally skilled and responsible pedagogue for a maternity leave position in the nursery team; the position is full-time, commencing as soon as possible. We are DGI – natural play certified, so you may have a special interest and knowledge in body and movement.

Børnehuset Den Grønne Giraf er et dagtilbud i Dronninglund, normeret til 20 vuggestuebørn og 70 børnehavebørn. Børnehavegruppen er fordelt på 3 alders-integrerede stuer, og vuggestuegruppen er på én stue, med et mindre rum tilknyttet i forlængelse af stuen. Vi har en meget engageret personalegruppe samt forældregruppe, som gerne deler idéer og sparring til vores skønne hus.

Den Grønne Giraf is a day care facility in Dronninglund, normed for 20 nursery children and 70 preschool children. The preschool group is distributed across 3 age-integrated rooms, and the nursery group is in one room, with a smaller room attached beside the room. We have a very engaged staff group as well as a parents’ group who are happy to share ideas and support for our wonderful house.

Den Grønne Giraf er en del af Dagtilbudsområdet i Brønderslev kommune, som består af 17 dagtilbud, 17 dagtilbudsledere og én områdeleder. Vi har et stærkt samarbejde på tværs af vores dagtilbud, med fællespasning i ferieperioder, fælles stormøder og en fælles retning i forhold til den pædagogiske faglighed, kurser og videreuddannelse.

Den Grønne Giraf is part of the Daycare Area in Brønderslev Municipality, consisting of 17 day cares, 17 day care managers and one area manager. We have strong collaboration across our day cares, with joint babysitting during holidays, common meetings and a shared direction regarding pedagogical professionalism, courses and further education.

De fysiske rammer i Den Grønne Giraf byder på et stort lyst hus med et stort fællesrum, hvor der er køkken, samt 2 medarbejdere i køkkenet som laver mad til alle børn. Derudover er der en stor legeplads, som kan deles op i flere sektioner, samt bålhytte og et kolonihavehus på legepladsen. På marken ved siden af Den Grønne Giraf går der geder, som vi besøger dagligt. Rammerne indeholder utallige muligheder for at skabe mange forskellige læringsmiljøer.

The physical framework at Den Grønne Giraf offers a large bright house with a big common room, where there is a kitchen, and two kitchen staff who prepare meals for all children. In addition, there is a large playground that can be divided into several sections, as well as a fire pit hut and a country cottage on the playground. In the field next to Den Grønne Giraf, goats graze which we visit daily. The settings provide countless opportunities to create many different learning environments.

Vi har et stort fokus på at skabe læringsmiljøer for alle børn, både ude og inde, og vi justerer løbende vores læringsmiljøer til børnegrupperne. Derudover har vi stort fokus på vores tilgang, vores relationer til børnene, samt de voksnes positioneringer blandt børnene. Vi er optagede af at skabe balance i voksen- og børneinitierede lege og aktiviteter.

We have a strong focus on creating learning environments for all children, both indoors and outdoors, and we continually adjust our learning environments to the groups of children. In addition, we place great emphasis on our approach, our relationships with the children, and the positioning of adults among the children. We are committed to creating a balance between adult- and child-initiated play and activities.
