With us, presence, care and security are the foundation of everything we do. We are a small institution in a small village, where the sense of community is close, relationships matter, and where we place emphasis on creating a daily life in which both children and adults feel seen, heard and valued.

We are seeking an engaged and present pedagogue or pedagogical assistant for our nursery.

The position is 34 hours (possible 37 hours) with start date January 1, 2027.

Børnehuset Børnely is a small integrated institution licensed for 36 kindergarten children and 16 nursery children.

A little about us

At Børnely we put the child at the center of our pedagogy. We base the work on the individual child and create a daily life characterized by security, care and affirming relationships. We place great emphasis on meeting the children with presence and respect, so they experience themselves as seen, heard and understood. Our view of children is that being a child has value in itself. That children should be seen as competent and active co-creators of their own learning and development.

The house should be a safe and caring place where, in dialogue and in close collaboration with the parents, we help create well-being and development for the children. Collaboration is an important part of our pedagogical practice, and we actively work to create a safe and trusting community around the children.

We are a professionally grounded staff team, who through sparring and reflection work on developing our pedagogical practice. We have a strong focus on recognition and communication.

We focus on each other’s practice and value a good working environment characterized by joy and humor.

We are, in the nursery, certified for ”Sangglad Mini”, - a song-loving nursery. ”Sangglad Mini” is for nurseries that want to give song a central place in the children’s daily life. The overall goal is that song should contribute to a good start in life.

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is educated as a pedagogue or pedagogical assistant.
• Has an affirming and caring view of children
• Is professionally competent, reflective and engaged, with an interest in the target group.
• Is aware of supporting the children’s initiatives, and in the pedagogical practice you base yourself on the child perspective.
• Is clear in organizing practice so we can continue to create the best frames for the children’s well-being, learning and development.
• Is willing to put their own practice on the table and can reflect on their own and colleagues’ pedagogical practice.
• Can plan and carry out activities targeted at nursery children and subsequently evaluate the pedagogical process.
• Is positive-minded and has a good sense of humor.
