About the job

PÆD / SOSU / ERGO to a residential care facility

At Ane Staunings Vej we come from mixed professional backgrounds.

We believe that a mix of pedagogues, SOSU workers, ergotherapists, physiotherapists and life-experienced people TOGETHER can see the whole person who lives in our residential care facility!

We are therefore casting a wide net and mainly looking for a match who agrees that COLLABORATION between professional groups is the most important aspect of employing people with disabilities.

The target group

14 and soon 16 citizens with developmental disabilities aged approx. 18-85.

Citizens vary in their cognitive level and language.

Some citizens can independently get up, put on clothes, eat, express themselves with speech, etc.

Some citizens use a wheelchair and require full compensation in relation to communication, hygiene, clothing, food, movement, regulation in connection with strong emotions and self-harm, etc.

Some are right there in between.

All share that they cannot cope without pedagogical, health care and practical support.

That means your tasks will vary and your ability to apply individually tailored pedagogy and work跨disciplinary with a health-oriented perspective will come into play.

Your upcoming tasks

Support for, among other things.

  • Support through 1:1 pedagogy and in groups
  • Morning support and departure to work or home day
  • Planning and carrying out activities – in the close environment, at concerts or other

Your professionalism and experience will come into play – while you can also learn from your colleagues' professionalism and experience. In everyday life with the citizens, your tasks are the same, so learning from each other's professionalism is decisive to always keep an eye on the whole person.
  • If you have a health care background, you will be able to take on tasks as medication responsible and as an ongoing sparring partner in health care processes.
