Apply for the job now
Would you like to help support citizens in an independent and meaningful life?
Then this job may be for you.
We are seeking a trained educator or occupational therapist and a trained social and health care assistant who want to work recovery-oriented in a § 85 offer under the Center for Psychiatry and Socially Excluded in Randers Municipality.
About the position
Permanent position of 37 hours per week – with the possibility of 34 hours if you prefer.
Primarily day shifts, with a smaller number of evening shifts per month.
Every 6th weekend worked.
Working hours
08.00-16.00 (day shift)
13.00-21.00 (evening shift)
You will be based at Infanterivej Support Center and Solsortvej Support Center, but cover all three support centers (Infanterivej, Solsortvej and Nørrebrogade) during evening and weekend shifts.
Citizens live in their own apartments, and there are a total of 40 places spread across the three centers.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, where we work with a contact person function in teams of at least two people.
Our approach
We work from a recovery-supportive and rehabilitative approach. This means that we meet citizens as experts in their own lives and collaborate with them to use and develop their resources so they can live as independently as possible.
We work systematically and purposefully with citizens' § 141 action plans and prioritize a high degree of citizen involvement in everything we do.
As part of our professional practice we also apply mentalization-based perspectives and methods. This means, among other things, that we are curious about what may lie behind the citizen's behavior, emotions, and reactions, and that we work consciously with the relationship as a central tool in the pedagogical and rehabilitative effort.
We strive to maintain an open and exploratory view – even when situations become complex. We try to understand rather than conclude and focus on how our own approach and behavior affect the interaction with the citizen.
We offer
- Colleagues known for professionalism, humor, energy and commitment.
- An workplace focused on multidisciplinary cooperation – both internally and with partners.
- Influence and freedom under responsibility in a workplace in development.
- Opportunity to contribute to the education of students and trainees.
- External supervision.
- Ongoing implementation of new knowledge, methods and professional approaches.
We are looking for a colleague who
- Has a relevant education (educator or occupational therapist and social and health care assistant).
- Has knowledge of and interest in a recovery-oriented approach.
- Works with resource focus and sees possibilities together with the citizen.
- Has good collaboration skills and a curious approach to other professionals.
- Can balance between citizen contact, practical tasks, action plans and cooperation with relatives and partners.
- Can work independently but also actively contribute to the team.
- Is mindful of own limits and contributes to a good and safe working environment.
Practical
- Application deadline: 18. November 2026
- Recruitment interviews: Expected to be held on November 25, 2026.
- Start: As soon as possible and no later than January 1, 2027.
