Vesterkærets Skole offers from 1 December 2026 a permanent position as cleaning assistant on 33.44 paid hours. You will be employed on a 40-week contract, where you must work 37 hours in school weeks.

You must be interested in entering into a committed collaboration with colleagues, students, parents and management. You must have the desire and ability to create safe learning and wellbeing environments across the whole school.

Have the cleaning technician training or be willing to undertake it

Can assess cleanliness by eye, so you make the right decisions

Can take initiative and be developmental for the entire school's learning environment

Can work in an appreciative and inclusive manner

Are a team player in a collaborative team

Vesterkærets Skole is in a period of great development, where students’ academic learning, wellbeing and holistic development have high priority. Appreciative pedagogy is a fundamental principle at the school.

Vesterkærets Skole is located in the western part of Aalborg and has about 255 pupils from kindergarten to 9th grade, a DUS (after-school care) with 120 children, 48 staff members and a positive and engaged parent group.

Salary: Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the current agreement for cleaning assistants.
