About the job The available position is in a room with both an experienced pedagogue and an assistant who look forward to joint, professional reflection on everyday practice with you. We have a high share of educators in the house and an open culture where good, professional ideas are exchanged and implemented

As a pedagogue in Børnehuset Pilegården's kindergarten section you will become part of a community and a professional environment where we especially work with the pedagogue's positioning and support for play as children’s most important development and learning space.

You will spend much of your time in nature, for we have a positive and curious approach to the phenomena of nature – and the seasons. We live in a lovely natural area with a green and large playground. We have a field, a stream, exciting terrain and the cutest brown cows just outside the gate. All of these things will fill much of your daily life.

We have all just completed a NEST competence development program, and you will therefore experience a house in rapid, positive development that you can help shape. For a long time we have worked to create a good, structured and caring everyday practice and we hope you have the courage to bring your professionalism into that work.

• You have curiosity and imagination as part of your pedagogical value-set
• You can see yourself in a kindergarten where Nest-pedagogy is the central element.
• You have an interest in working inclusively and with a starting point in the children's community
• You are ready to collaborate in a professional learning community - in-house and interdisciplinary
• Knowledge about the importance of play for relationship-building, learning, development and formation is a plus, but most importantly you are prepared to support the children and can make play flourish.
• You have pedagogical overview and can create structure and frame the daily life to create predictability and security for both children and parents – of course in collaboration with your good colleagues
• You are a trained pedagogue or have great experience with pedagogical work and perhaps are ready to train with us.

About Børnehuset Pilegården

• We are about 25 employees in total and a good mix of age, gender and experience. In the kindergarten we are organized in 3 general groups and 1 group arrangement for 6 children, who are referred here.
• We are professionally ambitious and willing to try new initiatives
• We are developing within NEST-pedagogy together with a skilled pedagogical consultant
• We are a house with a friendly underlying mood and a staff group with ambitions for the children to thrive and succeed in our framework
• We place a high value on parent collaboration and are recognized concretely for our work by the parent group
• We have defined structures for daily routines and the year as well as traditions as shared landmarks for the course of the year
• We are supported by PPR and have ongoing management-led supervision
• We work according to annual norm and have allocated time for preparation and planning including for parent collaboration and we have group meetings once a week.
• We collaborate with our inspiring nature guide, whom we meet in the forest, in the Nature House Bistruphus or at home in the kindergarten.
• We have electric-assisted cargo bikes, so it is easy to get around, on longer trips and to Bistruphus.
• We are a two-story house and we have a good collaboration with the nursery department, among other things regarding smooth transitions from nursery to kindergarten, we share staff facilities and hold joint meetings.

"Here with us you get wonderful colleagues, where we give each other space to try different things and to cover all the curriculum themes. We are a house where we work in a community, we can have different opinions, but we work toward common goals. We use nature a lot for immersion and for exploring with the children and it is right outside the door. We enjoy having frames where the children can express their movement joy both indoors and outdoors.

We have a shared understanding of the importance of splitting the children into smaller groups, for example when we currently prioritize work with play time and play groups"
