About the job and the tasks

We are looking for an engaged and structured planner who can create overview, coordinate and find solutions – also when everyday life changes, illness or acute needs arise, and cross-functional thinking is required.

Food & Meals consists of 10 nursing home kitchens and two meals-on-wheels kitchens. We prepare food based on our residents, where the meal is about more than nutrition – it is also about quality of life, community, freedom of choice and co-determination.

We work purposefully to make nutrition and the kitchen's professional expertise a natural part of holistic care, so kitchen, care and other professional disciplines together create the best conditions for residents' quality of life.

As a planner you will be an important part of daily collaboration across our kitchens. You will help create coherence, support the staff and ensure that we help each other when needs change. The tasks include:

• Shift planning and contribute to collaboration in our kitchens.
• Creating overview in cases of illness, changes and acute needs.
• Finding solutions and coordinating help across the kitchens.
• Being a sparring partner for employees and managers.
• Supporting staff in the use of CURA, eSmiley and our upcoming new nutrition program.
• Translating new workflows and systems into a daily routine that makes sense for staff.
• Being the link between kitchen and care when tasks need to be solved across.

Close to the employees

The position is practice-oriented, and you will spend a large part of your working day out in our kitchens. We believe that the best solutions are created through good relationships, dialogue and understanding of the reality the employees face. Therefore you should be eager to be visible, curious and close to everyday life – and be able to meet employees with calm, respect and a solution-focused approach.

We want to be one unified organization rather than 12 kitchens, each solving their own challenges. You will therefore be an important driver in creating collaboration, sharing resources and ensuring that professional disciplines and workplaces work together.

• See opportunities and be able to think cross-functionally.
• Have an interest in the elderly care sector and holistic care.

Familiarity with kitchen operations, the care sector or a municipal organization is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important is that you have an overview, human understanding, good collaboration skills and a desire to make things work.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and pay.

The position is 30-37 hours with start on January 1, 2027.

A driving licence and own car are required, as the role involves working across our kitchens.
