The position

On behalf of Dan-Foam AMBIZZION is seeking an Industrial Engineer. You will become part of a team of five, where you work closely with Maintenance in particular, but also Production Support and other departments. You will be responsible for optimizing, developing and supporting the daily operation of machines, equipment and technical processes. Your workplace will be Dan-Foam in Aarup on Funen, and you will report to the Engineering Manager.

Your main tasks

• Ensure and support the existing production in collaboration with Maintenance, Production Support and production managers
• Optimize machines, equipment and processes with focus on productivity, utilization and other KPI’s
• Work on upgrades and retrofit of machines and equipment – including safety, ergonomics and capacity improvements
• Implement new products into production in cross-functional projects
• Participate as core member in investment projects – including design reviews, FAT, SAT and commissioning
• Troubleshooting and technical support on equipment, based on root cause analysis and problem-solving methods (PDCA etc.)
• Contribute to LEAN initiatives in production
• Ensure documentation, process validation and updated layouts
• Handover and commissioning of new plants and equipment from investment projects

What you will also be responsible for

• To describe and establish preventive maintenance
• To contribute production experience in new projects
• To ensure that workflows and processes are continuously improved

Qualifications

• Technical education as a mechanical engineer, machine engineer, production engineer or similar
• Several years of experience from a manufacturing company, and preferably familiarity with machine construction
• Strong English skills (corporate language)
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, Machinery Directive and technical documentation
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Familiarity with CNC programming
• Experience with project management is desirable
