PPR consultant with a strong school- and teaching-related profile for PPR Stevns

PPR Stevns is in the midst of an exciting development process, where we strengthen our early and preventive efforts and bring PPR even closer to pedagogical practice. We already have good experiences with preventive initiatives in the day-care sector, and now we want to strengthen and further develop our collaboration with the municipality's public schools and special needs schools.

Therefore we are seeking a PPR consultant with solid experience in the school and teaching sector, who wants to bring their knowledge and experience into developing inclusive learning environments and strong child communities.

You are very welcome to be trained as a teacher and have experience from the primary school, but you can also have another relevant educational background. The decisive factor for us is that you have a strong school and teaching professional foundation, relevant further education, and an in-depth knowledge of school practice and the opportunities and challenges associated with teaching, learning environments, and child communities.

As a PPR consultant you will work closely with teachers, pedagogues and school leaders. A significant part of the task is to support the professionals around the children through guidance, sparring and consultative processes. Our focus is strongly on the child group and the learning community, while we also handle tasks with a focus on the individual child.

We base ourselves on a systemic approach and work in a resource-oriented and solution-focused way with children and young people, their families and the professionals around them.

Your tasks

Your specific tasks will be based on your qualifications and may include, among other things:

• Preventive consultative processes with teachers, pedagogues, teams and leaders
• Observation, analysis and sparring with a focus on teaching, learning environments and child communities
• Support for schools' work with participation opportunities and inclusive learning environments
• Individually oriented investigations of children and young people in vulnerable positions
• Preparation of pedagogical-psychological assessments in relation to children and young people in general education and special education offerings
• Interprofessional collaboration around children and young people where coordinated action is needed

About PPR Stevns

The position is anchored in PPR, and you will become part of a cross-professional unit consisting of PPR consultants, psychologists, speech therapists, language and multilingual pedagogues, reading consultants, occupational therapists and administrative staff.

In daily work we also closely collaborate with professionals from the authorities, health services and family treatment. We share the same building and place a high value on professional sparring and cross-disciplinary cooperation. We are aware that we best solve our important task when we do it together.

Our everyday joint focus is our Family House/PPR at Bjælkerupvej 32 in Store Heddinge. Here we hold our internal meetings, and those of us who are in the office usually have lunch together. We have a good social community and an informal tone.

A large part of the work also takes place out in the schools, where you will have close collaboration with teachers, pedagogues and leaders. PPR is part of the Center for Children and Learning, which is both a professional and collegial community with, among other things, professional lunches, center meetings and an occasional party.

We imagine that you

• Have solid experience from the primary school and teaching area and an in-depth knowledge of school practice
• Very much would like to be trained as a teacher, but you can also have another relevant basic education combined with substantial experience from the school sector
• Have relevant pedagogical, special pedagogical or pedagogical-psychological further education at diploma, master or candidate level
• Have an eye for both teaching, the individual child and the communities the child participates in
• Can translate your professional knowledge into practice-oriented guidance and sparring that makes sense for teachers, pedagogues and leaders
• Thrive in a consultative role where solutions are developed together with the professionals around the children
• Are flexible and independent in your task solving
• Have good collaboration skills and can navigate a dynamic and complex everyday life
• Work pragmatically, solution-focused and structured
• Have drive, openness and a desire to contribute to the collegial community
• Have a driving license and your own car – Stevns covers a large geographic area

The position is 37 hours per week with the start as soon as possible or by agreement. Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles.
