As Technical Consultant you will work with ChemoMetec's new software platform and act as the link between customers, Product Management and Software R&D. You play a central role in ensuring high quality in software deliveries, supporting customers and translating technical challenges into valuable feedback for the development team.

Your role

You will be responsible for ensuring successful software implementations at customers and serve as a technical advisor during installation, integration and support.

You will become part of the Software R&D & Product Management team, and undergo a thorough onboarding process focusing on the software platform, architecture and codebase. Your main tasks will be to:

• Independently drive implementations and on-site integrations with customers and identify causes of technical problems
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and how they use the solutions, and assist them with technical challenges
• Collect and convey valuable user feedback to R&D & Product Management
• Technical support and troubleshooting of the software platform and contribute to reducing the number of support cases escalated to R&D
• Be part of product launches, including software readiness, validation and training
• Develop and maintain documentation such as installation guides, review of release notes, user manuals and troubleshooting guides
• Be curious and get up to speed with new upgrades on the platform
• Contribute to ensuring high customer satisfaction and successful product usage

As a Technical Consultant you will travel to ChemoMetec's exciting customers in Europe and the USA for customer visits and implementations, therefore there will be a lot of travel activity in the role.

In the longer term, you are expected to play a central role in building a Technical System Support team and contribute to training and development of new colleagues in Europe and the USA.

About you

You are technically strong and service-minded with a natural interest in solving complex problems, helping customers and finding durable solutions. You thrive at the intersection of technology, products and people and are motivated by taking ownership of technical challenges.

You are comfortable reading code, analysing errors and independently identifying causes of technical problems. You have experience with several of the following technologies:

• Linux and Windows operating systems
• Docker and container technologies
• PostgreSQL
• Grafana or similar monitoring tools
• It would be advantageous if you have experience with Python as well as Linux/Unix shell scripting
