Process-driven auditor for BDO's professional department

In BDO's professional department, Center of Excellence, you are not only involved in finding the good solutions - you are also involved in bringing them to life in the organization.

Your daily life in Center of Excellence

From the office in either Aarhus or Aalborg you get very close to the way we work with auditing at BDO. You help to develop and improve our central audit processes, and your work does not stop when the good solution is found - you also help to bring it to life in the organization.

That means you will both dive into auditing-related issues and work on development, testing and implementation of new processes and workflows. You will gather experiences from colleagues in the audit practice, translate them into concrete improvements, and help ensure coherence between our methodology, systems and guidelines.

An important part of the role will also be to get others on board. You will, among other things, meet with colleagues and representatives across our regions, teach audit colleagues, and support them when new solutions are put into use. Therefore you must not only be able to see what is professionally the right solution, but also how we get it to work in the day-to-day life of a auditor.

In addition, you will become part of the daily professional sparring in CoE, where you answer professional questions and contribute to guidelines, news and teaching materials. You will continue to have client work to a lesser extent, so you maintain hands-on feel for auditing work.

Who are you?

With your experience as an auditor you have a solid understanding of the audit processes and the day-to-day in which our solutions must operate. Professionalism is important to you, and you become curious when you encounter a problem that requires a deeper dig. At the same time you are not necessarily motivated only by finding the technically correct answer. You also want to translate it into solutions that work in practice, and bring others along the way.

Therefore you thrive in cross-functional collaboration and dare to challenge the way we do things today. You are good at listening to different perspectives, bringing people together around a solution, and conveying complex professional topics so they become usable for others.

You do not need to come from a professional department today. You can easily sit in a classic auditing role and have reached a point where you are curious to use your auditing expertise in a new way.

We imagine that you

• have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an auditor
• have an HD or cand.merc.aud. or are in the process of SR
• thrive on driving tasks forward and translating ideas into practice
• are willing to bring together different perspectives and get colleagues on board when new solutions are to be implemented
