Do you like talking to people you don't know yet? Do you follow the beauty industry more closely than most follow their favorite series? And are you excited by the idea of learning an entire profession from the ground up – negotiation, buying, campaigns, everything?

So we have a 2-year apprentice position for you in our Beauty purchasing department.

About the role

You will become part of a team that is building one of the Nordic region's strongest beauty universes across e-commerce, physical retail and social platforms. As an apprentice you will get a broad exposure – not just observe, but help solve the tasks. This means, among other things:

• Procurement and planning of goods in our own product portfolio.
• Calculations and ongoing price monitoring so we are always competitive.
• Collaboration with suppliers – you will have your own contact interface and build relationships, not just sit in on meetings.
• Execution of marketing and campaign activities in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
• Updating data and ensuring that the goods actually land on time.
• Preparation of statistics and market analyses – you must be able to see patterns in the numbers, not just report them.
• Backup for the department's buyers when an extra hand is needed.

What will be difficult: you will take on responsibility faster than you might expect, and the pace in Beauty is high. There is not always time for someone to guide you through every detail – you must dare to ask, take initiative and learn along the way, while tasks run.

How to succeed in the role

• You are outgoing and proactive – you take the contact yourself, rather than waiting for someone to introduce you.
• You actively follow beauty trends, and you can translate an observation into an idea, not just an interest.
• You think commercially, even in small tasks – you ask yourself what is best for the business, not just what is easiest.
• You are quick to learn and ask for feedback, instead of guessing and hoping for the best.
• You can manage many tasks at once without losing overview.

We are especially looking for you who...

Need to have

• Have completed one of the following: EUD/EUX, a secondary education diploma (HTX, STX or HF) supplemented with a 5-week EUS foundational course from the Business School, or HHX. Adult apprentice is also an option.
• Are outgoing and comfortable approaching people you don't know – including suppliers.
• Have a genuine and active interest in the beauty industry and its trends.
• Master English in writing and speaking at a level where you can conduct yourself in a supplier dialogue.

Nice to have

• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook) – if you have experience with or curiosity about AI tools in daily work, that counts as well.
• A couple of years of professional experience after your exam, preferably from another industry. For example, if you are trained as a materialist, but want the commercial path, we would love to hear from you.

Do not apply if...

• You prefer to sit behind the screen rather than picking up the phone and calling a supplier.
• Your interest in beauty stops at using the products yourself – we need someone who sees the business opportunity in the trend.
• You need a fixed training plan for every single task before you dare to start.
• You get stressed when things move fast and priorities can change during the day.
• You would rather have the answer before trying something yourself.
