Then you may be the Production Manager we are seeking for a well-established industrial company located in East Jutland.

Create structure and development in production

With reference to the CEO you will have the overall responsibility for the daily production and become part of the company’s management team. You will take a central role in lifting the area with a focus on structure, collaboration and continuous improvements. A significant part of the task will be to build and develop a strong team leader group with clear roles, responsibilities and expectations.

At the same time you must create more systematics around staffing, shift work, handovers and workflows and ensure that decisions are translated into action. You will also be involved in creating a more uniform and less person-dependent operation with clear standards and responsibilities. In addition, you will play an important role in raising the quality and safety level and ensuring that guidelines are translated into concrete behavior in everyday life.

You will drive continuous improvements and closely monitor production through KPIs and concrete action plans. You will be a visible leader close to operations and at the same time be able to look ahead and work with the longer-term direction. It will also be your task to create more clarity in an organization that is already characterized by high decisiveness and a strong ability to find solutions. Your key tasks will be:

• Lead and develop the team leaders and the production organization
• Ensure high delivery capacity, productivity, quality and safety
• Establish clear processes and systematic follow-up
• Drive continuous improvements and organizational changes
• Ensure an efficient and cohesive operation across shift teams

Experienced and decisive production leader

You have a relevant technical or production-oriented education, e.g. as a mechanical engineer or similar. In addition, you have solid experience with responsibility for an industrial production unit, preferably through team leaders or middle managers. Experience with shift operations, staffing management and systematic follow-up on KPIs is relevant, as is a good understanding of quality, work environment and safety. Experience with Lean, ERP-based production control or other data-driven management is an advantage.

As a leader you are clear, visible and present. You achieve results through employees rather than solving all challenges yourself and you have experience in developing team leaders and creating ownership in the organization. A structured and persistent approach enables you to follow decisions and initiatives through to the end. At the same time you can generate support for changes, set clear requirements and uphold agreements, processes and standards.

You are collaborative and relationship-oriented, but also have the courage to make decisions and stand firm when necessary. Experience with employees from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds is an advantage, and you communicate confidently in Danish and English.
