Production Manager for DS Stålprofil in Hobro

DS Stålprofil is seeking a strong and development-oriented production manager who can unite production, quality and logistics under one common direction and actively contribute to the company's continued growth.

Set the direction for a growing modern production

As a member of the management team you will have a central role in strengthening the company's competitiveness through efficient operations, digitalization, automation and managerial development. You will be responsible for a strong organization with skilled leaders and employees, and the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the strategic decisions needed to secure DS Stålprofil's continued position as one of the industry's leading companies.

As production manager you will have overall responsibility for production, quality and logistics at DS Stålprofil's factory in Hobro.

You report to the CEO and join the company's management team, where you actively contribute to the strategic development of the business. At the same time you ensure efficient operations and continued development of the organization.

You will be responsible for about 45 employees distributed across production, quality and logistics. You have direct management responsibility for the quality manager, a production supervisor and the administrative key functions around production.

The position ranges from daily management and performance management to development of production through digitalization, automation and continuous improvements. You thus play a pivotal role in ensuring DS Stålprofil remains among the industry's most efficient and competitive companies.

Your main areas of responsibility are to

• Ensure a safe, stable and efficient operation with high quality and on-time delivery.
• Lead, develop and motivate leaders and employees.
• Drive improvements with focus on productivity, quality and resource utilization.
• Develop production through digitalization, automation and process optimization.
• Further develop the company's quality work and high standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment with focus on well-being, engagement and zero accidents.
• Contribute to investment, automation and development projects.
• Ensure constructive collaboration with union representatives and the occupational health organization.
• Have responsibility for budgets, KPIs and follow-up on results.
• Actively contribute to the company's strategic development as a member of the management team.

Who are you?

You have experience with production management and proven results in operations, optimization and development of organizations.

You probably come from a manufacturing company where you have had leadership responsibility for both people, processes and change.

In addition we expect that you

• Have experience with leading both managers, clerical staff and hourly paid employees.
• Have achieved strong results with Lean, process optimization and change management.
• Possess solid business understanding and insight into production economics.
• Have experience with quality management and preferably logistics.
• Are strong in ERP, BI and digital solutions.
• Are proficient in Danish and English at a professional level.
