Production Manager with an electrotechnical background for Fenagy – lead 30 employees in green industrial production

The position

We are seeking an experienced production manager with an electrical background who will lead three of our core production areas: electrical assembly, insulation and final preparation. You will have direct personnel responsibility for about 30 skilled employees – electricians, electrical testers, insulation technicians and employees in final prep – and report to the production director.

Your area covers the process from pre-wiring and assembly of electrical switchboards to insulation of the installations to the final outbound inspection, where the installation is checked, documented, labeled, packed and prepared for shipping. It is in your area that the installations get the final touch before leaving the facility – and where the quality becomes visible to the customer.

The production is ISO 9001 certified. We produce the next-generation efficient CO₂ heat pumps and cooling systems for district heating and industry, and since the solutions are customer-specific, no day is the same.

Your responsibilities

You will, among other things,

• Exert presence-based and value-based leadership with visible presence in production
• Lead, motivate and develop the employees in daily work, including conducting performance development conversations
• Plan and ensure execution of staffing, capacity and quality across electrical assembly, insulation and final preparation
• Ensure process discipline, standards and continuous improvements in operations.
• Actively work with deviations in the NCR system – register, analyze causes and translate them into corrective actions so that errors do not repeat
• Work systematically with safety, order and the working environment in your area
• Collaborate closely with planning, project, electrical design and quality on flow and delivery capability

Your profile

You have a technical background with electricity as the foundation – e.g. as an electrician, automation technician, electrical installer, electrotechnologist, marine engineer or engineer – and you have led employees in a production company, e.g. as production manager, supervisor or team leader.

We imagine that you

• Have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, preferably with direct management of production staff
• Are structured and strong in daily execution, prioritization and follow-up
• Have practical experience with LEAN and improvement work
• Can read electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams and understand the technical challenges on the shop floor
• Communicate clearly in Danish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience from cooling systems, heat pumps or machine and industrial production with customer-specific solutions, but not a requirement.
