Professional Engineer – Water and Environment

As a technical engineer with us you will have a varied daily life with exciting sewerage and infrastructure projects for both public and private clients. You will become part of a department in development, where you, depending on your experience and competences, can contribute as a technical engineer or take responsibility as a technical or project manager. In both roles you will participate in strong professional communities where we help each other, share knowledge and collaborate across both the department and Artelia's other disciplines.

Your primary tasks

• You contribute to projects within drainage and infrastructure, both smaller tasks and larger cross-disciplinary projects
• You will supervise the projects where you have provided guidance
• You work with design and preparation of technical material, including tender documents
• You collaborate closely with colleagues, project teams and other disciplines at Artelia
• You contribute to professional development, knowledge sharing and quality in the solutions from design to execution

Depending on your experience you can take responsibility for professional coordination, project management and dialogue with clients and developers.

Your profile

• You are a trained engineer, preferably with a specialization in drainage
• You preferably have 3-5 years of experience in the drainage area and with design related to drainage and infrastructure
• You have previously worked with the preparation of tender documents
• You thrive in project teams and actively contribute to good collaboration
• You are quality-conscious, responsible and work structurally with your tasks
• You are keen on professional and personal development and on sharing knowledge with your colleagues
• You speak and understand Danish, and good English skills are an advantage.

You will become part of the Drainage & Civil Engineering department, which is part of the Infrastructure business unit and locally located in Næstved. Nationally, Artelia has about 300 employees in the infrastructure area, and we cooperate closely across offices. You will therefore have many colleagues with strong competencies in, among other things, drainage technology, design, remediation planning, hydrology and modelling, climate adaptation, traffic planning, road design, geotechnics, bridges, tracks, nature, sustainability and environment.
