We have previously been looking for a new colleague, but have not yet found the right match. Therefore we try again – because we know that the right pedagogue for Chili is out there!

Are you passionate about helping to create a structured daily life and magical moments of encounter for our youngest children in the nursery? Can you create calm in the midst of chaos, put words to the big emotions of the little people, and still laugh when today’s plans take an unexpected turn? - Then you are the one we are seeking to join our team.

In the Municipality of Middelfart we work in the 0-18 year area based on the vision “from a Middelfart child to a world citizen.” Our shared mission is to create capable children who are prepared for the world they are part of, both in the small and large community. As an employee in Middelfart Municipality you will play a key role in turning the vision into practice – so it becomes a visible co-player in daily life for colleagues, parents and children.

Chili Child House is a municipal day care institution, spread over 2 sites – red and green chili – with 22 nursery places, 46 kindergarten places and 23 places in a special group for children with a special treatment need related to their physical and/or mental disability.

The Nursery at Chili Child House is located in a pavilion in Green Chili and has a large outdoor area, which provides good opportunities for play, physical activity and immersion. In the nursery, staff work from an educational approach where the goal is to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for the children. Emphasis is placed on presence, care and well-being, while there is room for joy, humor and adults who dare to be playful in interaction with the children.

In the nursery, work is planned based on the current group of children while also taking into account the individual needs of each child. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration with relevant professional groups to support all children's well-being, development and learning.
