So perhaps it is you we are looking for as Project Manager for BITZER Electronics in Sønderborg.

About the position

As a Project Manager at BITZER Electronics you will have overall responsibility for leading and driving several development projects in parallel. The projects typically last 1–2 years and involve 4–10 allocated project participants.

You lead development across hardware, software, mechanics, test equipment and purchasing and have ownership of the projects up to handover to ongoing production. The role requires a strong overview, a structured approach and the ability to balance the project’s needs with the company’s overall priorities.

You will become part of an experienced PMO team where knowledge sharing, professionalism and a hands-on approach to project management are highly valued.

Your primary responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple development projects in parallel.
• Ensure progress, overview and management of time, resources, quality and finances.
• Active risk management with timely escalation of risks and challenges – always with concrete solution scenarios and recommendations, prioritized in relation to the project’s and company’s overall goals.
• Facilitate collaboration across HW, SW, mechanical, test and procurement.
• Ensure clear role and expectation alignment among all involved parties.
• Support decisions in the projects with a holistic view of quality, time, finances and the company’s overall priorities.
• Take ownership of the projects from idea to stable production.

We imagine you

• Have a technical background in hardware, software or mechatronics.
• Have experience leading technically complex development projects, preferably several at the same time.
• Are used to working with many interfaces and partially allocated teams.
• Work fact-based and keep focus on the task, even when the complexity is high.
• Are structured, solution-oriented and able to maintain an overview.
• Have a willingness to change and dare to challenge the “usual” when it is constructive.
• Understand how to think in holistic terms and prioritize project progress with a view to the company’s overall needs.
• Preferably have a project management qualification (e.g., Prince2) – but it is not a requirement.
