Project Manager for Road Design

Do you have strong road engineering competencies and extensive experience in project management? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new colleague.

We are experiencing significant development in the road sector and are therefore seeking a project manager for the Roads – Design department, so we can further deliver high-quality advisory services and ensure good knowledge sharing within the department.

The department is part of the Transport business unit and consists of 17 skilled employees who work closely with the Roads Department – Advisory and International, which consists of 11 employees. Nationally, the infrastructure area counts 250 employees, so you will have many competent colleagues and a broad interface with other departments at Artelia.

As a project manager in the department you will work with many different types of projects, both smaller municipal projects with close contact to our clients and larger projects in, for example, design-build. Your workday will primarily consist of project management tasks for projects where your experience in project management, road design and preferably the municipal market comes into play. You should have experience as a consultant and be eager to represent and strengthen Artelia's profile externally. Therefore it is advantageous if you are already part of a professional network within the industry.

As a person you are outgoing and motivated to deliver the best advisory services in the road sector. Based on your own area of expertise, you should want to solve many different projects in collaboration with various clients. You are keen to join the community, to help, brainstorm and collaborate with your colleagues both within your own discipline and with your many colleagues in Artelia's other disciplines.

Your profile

• You are a trained engineer or similar.
• You have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an engineer and preferably with project management
• You are technically strong in the road sector
• You are keen to work with a wide range of tasks within the road sector
• You have good communication skills in Danish, both written and spoken
• You are outgoing, have a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Your primary tasks

• You will be the project manager on a range of different projects, primarily municipal road and construction projects
• You will ensure knowledge exchange with new project managers and strengthen the department's professional development
• You will support and contribute to the good working environment and the good collaborative culture in the department, which is part of Artelia's DNA.
