About the job

NTI A/S · Værløse, Vejle or Aarhus

Can you lead complex IT projects and create coherence between the customer's strategy, technical solutions and business results? Then you may be our new project manager.

You will become part of an exciting growth company with high well-being, strong professionalism and a good atmosphere among 250 colleagues at NTI in Denmark and over 1000 colleagues in total in the other countries where NTI has offices.

At NTI we help industrial companies develop their processes and create a better alignment between product data, systems and people. We are looking for an experienced project manager who can drive projects within PDM, PLM and integration and ensure that the solutions create value in the customer's business.

You will have a central role in our larger and more complex projects. The engagements range from defined projects of 1–2 months to multi-year implementations with several phases and deliverables.

Your role – from strategic direction to concrete results

As a project manager you translate strategic goals into a realistic project plan together with the customer and our specialists. You ensure that each phase has a clear purpose, agreed deliverables, financial constraints and targets for the expected benefits.

You are responsible for the project's progress, economy, quality and communication. At phase transitions you create a clear decision foundation, so the customer can prioritise the next steps based on achieved results, risks and expected gains.

You work together with Account Manager and Solution Architect in the steering group in the client collaboration . Together you ensure coherence between the customer's business goals, the solution's architecture and the project's execution. Your particular responsibility is to create an overview, follow up on agreements and ensure timely decisions.

Your main tasks

  • Plan and lead projects from needs clarification and analysis to implementation, testing, adoption and handover.
  • Prepare phase plans and roadmaps with clear scope, responsibilities, resources, budgets and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor project economics, risks, dependencies and changes in the project's scope.
  • Connect deliveries and priorities to the customer's business case and expected business yield.
  • Prepare and conduct project and steering committee meetings with clear status and concrete decision proposals.
  • Coordinate consultants, technical specialists, the customer's project participants and any other suppliers.
  • Ensure alignment between process optimization, data, configuration, integrations and testing.
  • Plan training, organizational embedding and follow-up on the solution's usage.

You master both structured and agile project management

A solid knowledge of PRINCE2 and Scrum is important in the role. You can apply the methods in practice and adapt them to the project's size, complexity and the customer's organization.

You can combine PRINCE2’s focus on responsibility, business case, phase separation and decisions with Scrum's iterative approach to development, prioritization and ongoing feedback.

That means, among other things, that you can create a stable framework around the project and at the same time support the solution being qualified through short engagements, demonstrations and learning along the way. You understand the interaction between the project manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master and the delivery team.

We would like you to be PRINCE2-certified at Foundation and Practitioner levels . Scrum certification is an advantage.

Your professional competencies

You have experience in project management of complex IT or digitalization projects in industry. You have technical and analytical understanding and can translate complex issues into concrete plans and decisions.

We place emphasis on you

  • Have knowledge of PDM and PLM and their importance for product development, engineering and the company’s other processes.
  • Understand product data, documentation, bill of materials, revisions, release and change management.
  • Have understanding of integration between CAD, PDM, PLM and ERP , including data flow, data ownership and system dependencies.
  • Can work with project economics, estimation, business cases and follow-up on benefits.
  • Have experience with customer dialogue, expectation alignment and management of changes.
  • Communicate clearly in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

Knowledge of Autodesk solutions such as Inventor, Vault Professional and Fusion Manage is an advantage. The same goes for insight into databases, SQL and technical IT environments.

Your education can be for example engineering, marine engineering or a relevant IT or business education. The decisive factor is your experience and ability to connect technology, project management and business.

Your personal profile

You build trust through clear communication, calmness and consistent follow-up. You have natural authority and can handle negotiations and disagreements constructively.

You work structurally and quality-conscious, keep an overview and know when a detail requires attention. You take responsibility, work proactively and thrive in collaboration with both management, users and technical specialists.

You dare to challenge priorities when ambitions, time and finances must hang together – and you help the parties move toward practically usable solutions.

We offer

At NTI you get a versatile role with great influence on both your projects and our approach to project management.

You will become part of a professionally strong environment with engaged colleagues, knowledge sharing, informal tone and room for humor. You get the opportunity to develop your competencies and work with solutions that make a concrete difference for industrial companies.

In addition, we offer among other things lunch scheme, pension scheme and health insurance.
