At Envidan - part of Rambøll we develop software for the water sector. We modernize existing products and build new solutions, and we are seeking an experienced project manager who can translate ambitions and priorities into realistic plans and deliverables.

Your role

You will become part of our software department and work closely with the Product Owner, developers, architects, UX and Test Manager. You tie the threads together and ensure that goals, agreements and dependencies are clear for both the team and our stakeholders.

The daily work includes both new development, maintenance and operation tasks. Therefore you must be able to adjust plans, make consequences visible and ensure that the right decisions are made in time.

Your main tasks will be to

• Plan and coordinate software projects from clarification to release and handover.
• Monitor progress, finances, capacity and risks.
• Manage dependencies across products, teams and partners.
• Lead and motivate your team through clear direction, presence and trust – you have direct personnel responsibility.
• Ensure clear agreements on responsibilities, deliverables and milestones.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on scope and prioritization within the project’s framework.
• Communicate status and decision needs clearly to teams, management and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate release preparation with development, testing and support.
• Contribute to improving our work processes to strengthen both quality and predictability.

Who are you?

You have experience with project management in software development and know that good deliveries require both structure and strong relationships. You follow up, tackle challenges early and help the team find a way forward.

We imagine that you

• Have led software projects with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Have worked with agile teams and can combine continuous adaptation with clear delivery plans.
• Are familiar with budget tracking, estimates and forecasts.
• Have experience with managing and developing employees.
• Have sufficient technical understanding to discuss dependencies and consequences with developers, architects and product owners.
• Can facilitate meetings so they lead to clarification, decisions and action.
• Communicate clearly in Danish and English.

Experience with Jira and Confluence, international teams or modernizing legacy software is an advantage. You do not need to know the water sector beforehand – we will help you into the domain.

You create overview without making processes heavier than necessary. You listen to professional assessments and dare to challenge a plan when the assumptions do not hold. When demand exceeds capacity, you make options and consequences clear.

You succeed in the role when the team knows what needs to be delivered and why, and our stakeholders have a credible picture of progress, finances and risks.
