Property service technicians (Temporary, part-time) sought for HabitusHuset Holbo in Gribskov

We are seeking a skilled property service technician for a fixed-term part-time vacancy with the possibility of extension to help prepare and manage the daily operations of our new residential facility (Holbo) in Gribskov. In collaboration with our housing team you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the buildings.

As your workday takes place at our educational residential facility, it is expected that you have a positive and open approach to other people. We work with vulnerable citizens who have difficulty with change and who have challenges understanding their environment. Each of them has 1-2 pedagogical staff assigned on a daily basis to help you interact with the citizens most effectively, and you will usually need to have a very structured approach to time and appointments.

Our quality requirement is that our residential facility and surrounding outdoor areas always present themselves representative for residents, relatives and partners.

Your tasks include

• Cleaning and maintenance of buildings and green areas as well as snow removal.
• Small adaptations of furniture in apartments, as well as minor repair and maintenance work in collaboration with the Housing Team's Operations and Project Coordinator.
• Supervision/inspection of ventilation, water and heating installations.
• Control and servicing of doors and electronic locks.
• Cleaning up indoors and outdoors, and disposal at recycling stations.
• Control and supervision of ABA systems.
• Other ad hoc tasks.
• Responsible for workshop, ordering supplies and general supervision of the housing.
• In connection with a resident moving out, it is the property service technician's task to inspect the vacated apartment and prepare an inspection report, read meters for electricity, water and heating and manage the handover/return of keys.

The position is 10-14 hours per week, with working hours during the day typically starting between 7 and 8, and can be arranged as needed according to agreement with the residential facility manager. Initially the position will last 3 months, but there will be an opportunity for extension.

We expect that you have

• A property maintenance or relevant craft training.
• Interest in and experience with a wide range of craft tasks
• An independent approach to solving tasks – and solve them to a high standard
• You are strong in both technical and practical tasks
• Good at collaboration and able to handle a day that is changing
• Customer-service oriented with a strong desire to help management, staff and residents
• Hold a category B driving license

About HabitusHuset Holbo

We are a newly started pedagogical residential facility that provides the framework for residents with complex developmental challenges. The house is located in a scenic and quiet area in North Zealand. The offering is surrounded by open green landscapes, forest areas and meadow trails, which are characteristic for Græsted and the local area around Gribskov.

As a §104, 107 and 108 facility, each resident has their own apartment and also shares common areas indoors and outdoors, which creates opportunities for residents to socialize to the extent they are able, to go out into nature and develop through the many sensory experiences they encounter there, and at the same time have the opportunity to withdraw when they need to find calm.
