We are seeking a pedagogue for the toddler group in an integrated nursery house

We are seeking an engaged and academically strong pedagogue for our one toddler group in an integrated nursery house. Our house consists in total of 3 toddler groups and 5 preschool groups. In connection with an ongoing extension where our two current sites are merged under one roof, you will have a unique opportunity to actively contribute to both the physical framework and the development of a new shared culture.

In the Blue Room you will get colleagues who like to structure and organize the pedagogical work to make room for your spontaneous ideas. Regardless of your input, ideas and constructive feedback you will be met with the greatest support, listening and openness, so that together we can go a new way.

As a colleague in the toddler team you will be part of working with a common theme that refers to the curriculum themes, but also based on the children’s needs, interests and proximal development. We have a strong focus on an evaluation culture as it is one of the ways to raise the quality of our professional work. With us you get an hour of preparation time, which you can schedule when it suits you. The toddler team’s pedagogues have a pedagogical meeting for an hour every other week as scheduled.

In addition, there is a house meeting for an hour each week, as well as staff meetings about every 6 weeks during 17:00-20:00.

As part of our pedagogical curriculum we work with the inclusion of the care aspect, through a ten-year partnership with children's well-being. Please read more about this on our website, where you will also find links to small relevant videos.

We are passionate about

The toddler team is passionate about caring and close relational work. Our first priority is the children's start in the toddler group. For when small children are secure, they thrive, and can therefore explore, develop, be curious and let their imagination run free. We are passionate about being able to equip and adjust so that each child can join a social community. With us we work based on small child communities both within the room and in the larger community across the three toddler groups and later bridging to the preschool.

Employment

The position is 35 - 37 hours per week with expected start 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter. We are happy to wait for the right candidate.

In Furesø Municipality, salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement and based on the principles of Ny Løn.
