We already have two trained preschool teachers in all teams, but we dream of having even more teachers in the children’s house.

Therefore we are looking for one more trained pedagog to work in the baby nursery and the kindergarten at Børnehuset Måløv By. We would like you to be interested in working 30-37 hours per week, and whether you are newly graduated or an experienced pedagogue is less important to us.

We focus daily on relationships, interaction and children's play, and dream of a new colleague who, like us, wants to give children the best start in life.

Your main tasks

• To create a good and developing learning environments for all children
• To create presence and closeness for all children
• To have a varied week with a balance between activities on the own floor and activities across the house
• To create good and meaningful relationships with both children, parents and colleagues
• To use all the “free” opportunities that arise during the day to support and develop the individual child and the groups of children
• To give play significance for the children's development opportunities
• To contribute to the shared responsibility for the whole group of children’s well-being, development, learning and formation
• To collaborate on common goals for both the individual child and for child communities
• To ensure that the pedagogical work also takes place in connection with today’s routine tasks, for example in connection with self-help, meals, etc.
• To ensure that participation opportunities are created for children in vulnerable positions.

• That you have given thought to working in a daycare, with many partners
• That you will actively participate in the continued development of practice together with us
• That you are relational in your approach to children and families

• That you are a trained pedagogue, regardless of which specialization you bring with you

• That you are prepared to work in a child/adult environment
• That you work systematically and become a supportive part of an ongoing process, where we are implementing a uniform structure with catalogs and annual calendars for meetings and activities.

Who are we

Børnehuset is a 0-5 year institution with fantastic spatial and bright physical surroundings, located in a village environment, surrounded by lovely green areas. Børnehuset is located close to public transport in direct line to both Frederikssund and Copenhagen.

Børnehuset is normed for 50 babies and 80 kindergarten children. Børnehuset is built around three departments, each housing both baby nursery and kindergarten. Each department serves as a base for a group of children and their families.

A little about Måløvhøj district.

The district consists of five day care houses, which together form one common district institution with cooperation across the day care houses. The district has about 530 children and about 120 employees, as well as eight pedagogical leaders and one district leader.

Employment process and salary

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, and since we conduct recruitment interviews on an ongoing basis, you are encouraged to send your application right away.

We prefer the positions to be filled by December 2026 or January 1, 2027.

The position is initially 37 hours and is a permanent position.

Application deadline: November 6, 2026.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for pedagogical staff in day care, clubs and leisure services in the municipalities.

Employment takes place according to the principles of local pay formation and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position as pedagogue is DKK 34,171 - 38,870 per month before pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiations between the employer and the trade organization that has the negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
