Skilled/unskilled masseur on a part-time basis for a chiropractic clinic – approx. 10-15h/week.

We are seeking a new masseur for about 10 hours per week initially, employment ideally from 1/12.

We are interested in the candidate who fits the clinic, and can see opportunities for both a trained masseur, or an unskilled person with relevant experience, such as ongoing education in fields like massage/physiotherapy, or previous unskilled work experience.

Kiropraktorhuset Middelfart is a busy health-care clinic. We are centrally located, 3 minutes' walk from the station and close to access roads and the highway. Large private parking on-site. We have 4 chiropractors: Theis, Sander, Kathrine and Niels, 2 physiotherapists: Mikkel and Amalie (who offer massage but want to do less of it), 1 part-time masseur: Nicolai, who leaves as of 1/12, as well as 3 secretaries: Winie, Emilie and Anne.

We put the patient at the centre and strive to provide our best service together. To deliver good service it requires that you thrive – and we feel we have a good atmosphere both professionally and socially.

Your patients in the clinic will come from interdisciplinary pathways with chiropractors and/or physiotherapists, where the need for supplementary soft-tissue treatment is assessed, and to a lesser extent direct massage.

Since most patients come to the clinic because of pain, we are seeking a masseur who is specialized in physiurgical massage or sports massage, not a wellness masseur.

We expect that you

• Are service-minded, smiling and outgoing
• Have professional competence in order, and enjoy delivering good treatment, as well as planning patient pathways for the patient’s best interests.
• Experience with interdisciplinary clinics, such as chiropractors, doctors or physiotherapists is an advantage.
• Are eager to be part of our team both professionally and socially
• RAB certification is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Since we are a multidisciplinary chiropractic clinic, we have a high professional and diagnostic standard, so it is important to know what you know, but it is especially important to know what you do not know, and thus when you should call on your colleagues.

Salary: As an unskilled worker the pay is 170/hour, and as a trained masseur we offer a commission-based salary of 40% + pension and base salary as a safety net for start-up/uncertain periods. Both types of employment are as salaried employees, i.e., monthly wage and with the right to sick pay, holiday pay, etc.

The massage services in the clinic are typically 350kr/30 minutes massage.

The hours will be distributed over 2 days. As we have 5 treatment rooms and 6 clinicians, there is no free choice of days; ideally it would be Tuesday/Friday, but there is flexibility. In busy periods/illness, there may be an opportunity for more hours.
