Quality Manager for Industrial Concrete – Agerskov

On behalf of Industri Beton, Career | a JKS company is seeking a quality manager for the department in Agerskov. Here you will get an independent and versatile role with responsibility for the quality in the production of concrete elements. You will also become part of a quality team across the company's factories, where collaboration and professional sparring are in focus.

A versatile daily life close to production

As quality manager you ensure that the concrete elements meet internal quality requirements and applicable standards. You work closely with production and help ensure quality at all stages of the process.

Your tasks range from practical quality control and measurement of elements to inspection of concrete samples, reinforcement and finish. You will also have an active role in the development, testing and maintenance of concrete recipes as well as in the work with the company's production control system (FPC).

Your primary tasks include

• Daily quality control of concrete elements, including reinforcement, finish and dimensions
• Concrete control and follow-up on concrete tests, compressive strengths and production results
• Creation, testing and maintenance of concrete recipes
• Quality assurance, documentation and maintenance of the production control system (FPC)
• Handling of deviations, reporting of quality problems and participation in audits
• Control and calibration of measuring equipment and follow-up on quality procedures

You will have independent responsibility for quality at the site and have the authority to raise deviations and stop production if quality problems are suspected.

At the same time you will become an important sparring partner for production, where you support the mix master in relation to production data and deviations. You also contribute to training colleagues and to strengthening quality awareness in daily work. The tasks are planned in collaboration with the rest of the quality team.

A quality-conscious profile with technical understanding

We imagine that you have a technical or craft background and preferably experience from the concrete industry or another manufacturing company with quality control. Knowledge of concrete elements, concrete recipes and quality assurance systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You can read construction drawings, use measurement equipment and have good IT skills. At the same time you work in a structured way with recording and documentation.

As a person you are thorough, responsible and quality-conscious. You thrive close to production, dare to make decisions and can communicate with colleagues at all levels. You know that the best results are created through collaboration, and you want to share your knowledge and contribute to a strong quality culture. Good English skills are an advantage, as the company also has foreign employees.
