Radio channel P8 is seeking a university intern for spring 2027

Do you want to try working with radio? And do you love jazz, soul and the like? Then we hope you will apply for the internship with us at P8.

Do you want to learn how to make radio and gain experience in music communication?

On the radio channel P8 we are now seeking a university intern for our editorial team, which consists of passionate music communicators with a love for jazz, soul and the many lovely genres that resemble it.

As an intern with us you will help and contribute to the content across the channels programs. Your tasks will include among other things finding current music stories for the hosts, producing and editing short audio pieces, helping to find exciting guests – and generally contribute to planning the programs, especially the morning show Snooze. We also would like your help with weekly posts on Instagram and Facebook. In addition, prizes have to be sent off to happy listeners.

The palette is, in other words, broad, and during the internship you will gain valuable experience with radio production and the dissemination of music.

We expect that

• You are interested in jazz and soul and are familiar with the channel
• You think music and culture communication on radio is interesting and relevant
• You can work in a structured and independent way
• You want to edit audio
• You want to try your hand at producing and developing SoMe content with the editorial team

You dont need to know everything in advance, because at P8 you become part of a small and dynamic editorial team with the possibility of daily sparring and post-critique.

We sit in the DR Music department together with our musically colleagues from, among others, P6, P5 and P4. And by the way we are also some pretty nice and funny people to work with, if we may say so.

The internship is unpaid, takes place during daytime Monday to Friday and lasts about 5 months in the Spring semester 2027. We will agree on the exact start and end date.

It takes place in DR Byen, which has the metro right at the door.

If you have questions, please write or call the internship supervisor Valdemar Stauning at [email protected] / 61323132.
