We are seeking a professionally skilled pedagogue with the possibility of taking on the responsibility as internship supervisor as well as a structured and present pedagogue with the possibility of becoming language responsible

Do you believe that children do well if they can? And could a smaller kindergarten with lots of nature around be something you could see yourself in? Do you want to be responsible and take the lead for either our students or our language work?

Then we have the job for you! - In return you will be part of our new collaboration with PLAY, which helps to further develop our practice with a focus on strengthening our pedagogical competencies with emphasis on e.g. play, role distribution and 'low arousal' .

Do the pedagogical values sound like; present adults with a focus on attachment and relationships, something you can tick off? can you work with developing play competences and do you see play as a central part of children’s experiential learning?

We want two pedagogues with special competences - or with the desire to take responsibility and be the lead in the following roles: Internship Supervisor role: You must be able to guide and mentor students, with a focus on the students’ development. You will together with the student set goals and agree on trial actions in practice. Time will be allocated for mentoring and you will also be responsible for the documentation to the student’s school. You will be expected to lead the way and show the student the path.

Language Responsible : You must have knowledge of language work or a desire to obtain it. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the language staircase – but it is not a requirement. You will take the lead to ensure that language interventions are made for those with a particular need. You will have a lead role in the language work, where you will need to have an overview and ensure that all children have a language staircase produced and that we implement the necessary interventions here including development/focus points in the brain and heart.

About Brumbassen Brumbassen kindergarten is normed for 66 children aged 3-6 years distributed across two rooms.

Brumbassen is located in Gundsømagle in the northern part of Roskilde Municipality – a local community with strong communities, many families with children and good opportunities in the neighbourhood. The kindergarten is surrounded by scenic nature and is close to Margretheskolen as well as good bus connections to Roskilde, Jyllinge and Stenløse.

Our child view is based on the belief that children do well if they can. This means that we as professionals are curious about the children’s perspectives, adjust our practices and create participation opportunities for all children. We work resource-oriented and focus on ensuring that our child view is clearly translated into everyday life.

Our pedagogical practice is characterized by structure, clear routines, present adults, play and pedagogical activities focusing on well-being, development, learning and community.

We are a team focused on professional development, reflection and collaboration. We have a positive and trusting collaboration with engaged parents. We support each other and have close cooperation around our little house.

The two pedagogue positions at Brumbassen are 34-37 hours per week, with the possibility to adjust the number of hours according to your wishes. We wish to fill the positions as soon as possible, but we are happy to wait for the right people.
