About the job

Are you a social- and healthcare assistant or nurse and do you want to make a difference for people with affective disorders?

We are looking for a newly graduated or experienced SSA or nurse for Ward S3 in Vordingborg. The most important for us is not how much experience you have, but that you want to learn and develop. If you want to become part of a professionally strong team where relationships, care and involvement are at the center, then you might be the one we are looking for.

A ward with influence, meaning and opportunities

S3 is a ward consisting of a low- and high-secure part, where we treat patients aged 18-72. We receive patients with affective disorders and anxiety issues, but also treat, among other things, schizophrenia, personality disorders and substance misuse issues.

With us you will have a daily life where patient pathways are diverse, professionally challenging and meaningful. Together with colleagues, you will help make a real difference for people who are going through a difficult period of their lives.

The position consists of rotating day and evening shifts, with working hours from 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00, as well as every 2nd or 3rd weekend. We try to tailor your working hours and number of hours to your wishes and needs.

We believe in relationships, Recovery and professionalism

On S3, care, responsibility and inclusion are central values. We work purposefully to create good and coherent patient pathways where both patients and relatives are heard and involved. We work with Recovery and Safewards, relationship and de-escalation with ongoing reflection, supervision and knowledge sharing.

We place a high value on interprofessional and cross-sector collaboration. You will therefore be an important part of a team where we lift together and use each other’s competencies, and together we focus on patient safety and high professional quality.

A good and secure start

Whether you are newly graduated or come with many years of experience, we ensure you get a good start with us.

You will receive a thorough introduction to the ward and our areas of work based on our onboarding. You will, among other things, be introduced to relationships and de-escalation, Safewards, cardiac arrest treatment and fire drills. In addition, we offer ongoing education and courses, as well as opportunities for continuing education.

Supervision is a fixed part of our offering to employees, because we believe that professional development and the opportunity for reflection help create both quality, job satisfaction and well-being.

An work environment where we look after each other

You will become part of a group of dedicated, smiling and helpful colleagues who are passionate about psychiatry and about solving complex tasks.

We have approachable and supportive management, and we emphasize open dialogue and close collaboration. Our group values are respect, accountability and dynamism, and we work together to create a safe and developing environment.

We look forward to hearing from you!
