Your tasks will include, among other things

• To support our recovery-oriented rehabilitation practice, where the good and professional relationship with the residents and respect for each individual’s autonomy are central elements.
• To participate in an interdisciplinary working community that ensures residents receive sufficient and relevant support to handle different life challenges.
• To support residents in developing and maintaining skills through a daily life based on structure, predictability and flexibility.

About you

We are looking for a recovery-oriented employee with a relevant professional background such as social educator, nurse, social- and health assistant, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker or teacher . Experience with social psychiatry or treatment psychiatry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. However, we want an employee who:

• Is passionate about being part of an exciting multidisciplinary work environment where the core task is always solved with the citizen at the center
• Can work in an acknowledging and recovery-oriented way in relations with residents at the supported housing
• Is reflective about their own professional practice and able to apply it in practice
• Is able to remain calm and maintain overview in acute situations
• Can work independently while also engaging in a binding interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Communicates verbally and in writing at a high level – and is accustomed to using documentation tools such as KMD NEXUS
• Appreciates a work environment built on mutual trust and a daily life with an informal and humorous tone
• Can work day, evening and night shifts as well as weekends (every 3rd week)

About Botilbuddet Skovsbovej

Botilbuddet Skovsbovej is a 24-hour social-psychiatric supported housing, located in beautiful and green surroundings in Svendborg. The target group is adults with mental health and partly physical disabilities who have been allocated to the supported housing under the Social Services Law §107 and §108.

Here, 44 residents live on 2 connected properties, where 38 of the residents live in the 24-hour part of the facility. Botilbuddet Skovsbovej is included in both social supervision and health supervision.

The residents at Botilbuddet Skovsbovej have mental health challenges of significant importance for their everyday well-being, where especially schizophrenia and personality disorders characterize the diagnostic picture of the target group at the facility. Common to all residents is that they need structure and predictability as well as a substantial need to be supported in a meaningful and independent everyday life through highly specialized professionality, approach and care.

Botilbuddet Skovsbovej has about 60 employees. The staff are experienced and professionally competent. Employees have educational backgrounds in health, social care, nutrition and administration, where the common denominator is a strong focus on recovery-oriented rehabilitative practice with the citizen as an expert in their own life. The culture at the facility is characterized by a high degree of integrity, responsibility and teamwork in task execution.

Salary and employment

The position is 37 hours, but we are flexible and would, as far as possible, like to accommodate your wishes regarding hours. In addition, you should ideally be able to start no later than the 1 January 2027 and preferably earlier.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically ranges between 35,268 and 52,468 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday entitlement and fixed allowances. There can also be shift allowances and other special payments. It is important to note that your exact salary is determined by your education, experience, seniority and competencies and is settled by negotiation with the relevant professional organization.
