Relief - Experienced Ship's Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Able Seaman relief for a rotation from September 15 to September 29. This rotation will be as an assistant in the engine room.

Initially, this is a single 14-day rotation, but we are a dynamic workplace, and there are good opportunities for future employment, either permanent or as a relief.

Om stillingen As a ship's assistant-relief you will be an important part of the engine crew and contribute to the daily operation and maintenance of our two mini-cruise ships, sailing between Copenhagen and Oslo. You will work closely with the chief engineers and other colleagues in an international and dynamic environment where safety and cooperation are prioritized.

Dine primære ansvarsområder

• Daily operation and monitoring of mechanical and technical systems
• Maintenance and cleaning in the engine room
• Assist with repairs and fault finding
• Participation in fire and safety drills
• Bunkering and handling of oil and lubricants
• Recording and reporting of technical observations
• General incidental work in the machinery department

Vi forventer, at du

• Have a valid basic safety training (STCW)
• Have a valid qualification as Able Seaman for both deck and engine (STCW II/5 and III/5)
• Have a valid passport, medical certificate and seaman's book
• Be reliable, flexible and have a positive attitude
• Thrive in physical work and teamwork
• Speak and understand Scandinavian languages and English
