About the job

Grønnevang School in Hillerød seeks a resource staff member for the upper school with a focus on communities, well-being and participation opportunities for all students

At Grønnevang School we are looking for a dedicated and relationship-rich staff member for our upper school. We need you who understand that all children should be able to thrive and develop in a general school environment.

About the position

You will become a central part of the upper school and, in close collaboration with teachers and other professionals, contribute to creating strong learning communities where all students experience well-being, participation and academic development.

You will participate in teaching together with trained teachers and help plan, implement and evaluate teaching activities that support both the class's community and the individual student's learning.

Your schedule may consist of fixed hours in a small number of classes, where you contribute to strengthening students' participation, relationships and learning environment. You can also take part in craft and design or other teaching programs in collaboration with subject teachers.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • supporting positive class communities and students' opportunities to participate
  • contributing to safe, predictable and inclusive learning environments
  • collaborating with teachers on teaching, structure and classroom management
  • working on well-being, motivation and readiness to learn for the entire student group
  • facilitating activities that strengthen relationships and belonging among the students
  • collaborating with parents, counselors, PPR and the school's other resource people on the development of strong learning environments

We are looking for a staff member who

  • has experience with children and adolescents in school environments
  • has an eye for communities, well-being and opportunities for participation
  • works in a structured, clear and relationship-oriented way
  • meets students with high expectations and an appreciative human approach
  • sees possibilities rather than limitations
  • can support both academic, social and personal development processes
  • thrives in close collaboration with teachers and other professionals
  • is flexible and can navigate a varied everyday life.

We offer

A meaningful position with the opportunity to make a difference for students' well-being, learning and sense of community. You will become part of a committed team focusing on inclusive learning environments, cross-disciplinary collaboration and the development of the school's pedagogical practice.

You will have the opportunity to make your mark on daily life in the upper school, work closely with capable colleagues and become part of a school where community, participation and diversity are central values.
