Resource person at Østervangskolen in Hadsten

Østervangskolen in Hadsten seeks a professionally grounded and rooted employee with strong special educational competencies who is passionate about supporting children to succeed in their schooling. The position is a permanent full-time role of 37 hours as of January 1, 2027

You will be part of a school team that works to support the work with broader child communities. Here you will help develop and operate a range of flexible teaching offers, which are continuously adapted to the current child group. All of these offers support and supplement the children’s connection to and schooling in the general classes.

Part of the work also involves being able to support and guide teachers and pedagogues in working with different child groups. This happens in a co-creative process, where pedagogical and didactic knowledge contributes into the ordinary learning environments to create sustainable practice in the child communities.

As our new colleague, the tasks will among other things be

• To participate in the school’s middle form and on a daily basis have hours with the children who are attached
• Collaboration, professional sparring and guidance to teachers and pedagogues and teams at the school
• Collaboration with parents regarding the children
• Collect and analyze student data - including observation

We expect that you

• Have a relevant medium-length or longer education - e.g. teacher or pedagogue
• Have good relational skills
• Have extensive knowledge and practical experience with special pedagogical methods and tools, which you can convey in sparring and guidance with colleagues
• Have a professional foundation and practical experience with pupil absence and school refusal
• Can work independently, systematically and cross-disciplinary

About Østervangskolen and the position otherwise

We teach for the whole person and work to form the students into committed communities – that is our vision and main focus.

Østervangskolen is a 10-minute walk from the station with good connections to Aarhus and Randers. We have about 500 students from 0–9th grade, a reception class and 45 staff.

In this position you plan and arrange your tasks within a shared overall framework in collaboration with the team.
