At BDO Aabybro we are looking for an accountant to join our team. You will work with a wide portfolio of clients. The common factor for the clients is that they want an advisor who knows their daily lives and can help them with both accounting and tax questions.

The role and the responsibilities that come with it

In the role you mainly work with the preparation of personal accounts as well as assistance and other declarations for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Therefore it is not essential that you come with heavy experience in auditing or declaration tasks. For us it is more important that you have a solid accounting foundation and can work independently with your tasks.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Preparation of annual and personal accounts
• Assistance tasks for smaller companies
• Ongoing dialogue and follow-up with your own clients
• Planning and management of tasks in collaboration with the clients
• Professional sparring about everyday accounting matters

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the auditing industry
• Preferably experience with the corporate tax scheme
• Are motivated by building strong customer relationships
• Want to specialize professionally
• Thrive with responsibility and independence in daily work

The most important is that you enjoy client contact and take pride in delivering quality in your work.

What your day will look like

The everyday consists of a combination of accounting tasks and ongoing client dialogue.

Some days you are out with clients. Other days you work from the office with accounting, client contact and professional sparring in the team.

There is no role where you have to specialize in one narrow area. On the contrary, you will have a varied daily life with many different tasks and clients, which call for both expertise and common sense.
