About the job

The treatment team works with social-pedagogical treatment conversations combined with health-related interventions. The focus is to create a meaningful life for the dependent in collaboration with family/network and professionals based on a systemic, cognitive and rehabilitative reference frame.

In the treatment conversation part, you will through structured cognitive conversation courses support the citizen's goals with the treatment. The conversations will take place both individually and in groups and will have a strong focus on the family perspective.

The initiatives in the department are

• Individual counselling/therapy
• Family-oriented conversations
• Health and medical treatment
• Anonymous counseling
• Caregiver conversations (individual and in groups)
• Consultant assistance to partners

You will work exclusively on weekdays and during daytime hours.

We value that you have experience working with substance dependence based on the cognitive reference framework, and that you have experience and knowledge of working with motivation and ambivalence, both before and during a treatment intervention. It is important that you are able to understand the citizen's world and ensure the rehabilitative perspective with the citizen as an active participant.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team of 8 colleagues consisting of both social and health care professionals. The team is responsible for the overall substance treatment and works from and draws inspiration from evidence-based methods, including the national clinical guidelines, with a perspective on good alcohol treatment that should strengthen the quality of the intervention. The team is characterized by open and direct dialogue and a desire to succeed as a cohesive group.

About us

The Substance Abuse Center provides free prevention and outpatient substance abuse treatment for citizens and relatives in connection with misuse of drugs and/or alcohol. The Center handles detoxification and substitution treatment and has the option to refer to 24-hour inpatient treatment. The Center takes its starting point in the rehabilitative perspective, where the citizen's goals with the treatment guide the course.

Our framework is SEL §101 as well as SUL §142 (substance misuse treatment) and SUL §141 (alcohol treatment).

We expect from you

• That you have a social- or health-professional education at bachelor level with interest in and preferably experience from working with citizens with substance dependence
• That you have knowledge of and experience with working with dual-diagnosed citizens – misuse and mental health challenges
• That you understand how to collaborate with other partners in the municipal and regional sector
• That you, as a person, are curious and wish to develop your own and shared practice for the benefit of the citizens
• That you are used to working systematically and ensure documentation and goal-oriented work
• That you have an interest in working with citizens with substance issues and their relatives and are able to develop respectful and affirming alliances
• That you are positive and caring and contribute to a good working environment

A permanent position, typically 37 hours, with employment from 01.01.27 at RusmiddelCenter Vejle at Horsensvej 35, Vejle.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the collective agreement and the principles of local salary formation.

The salary range will be provided in connection with the invitation to interview.
