Xocolatl is a Danish-owned chocolate company based in Hejls and Christiansfeld. The company develops and produces handmade quality chocolate with focus on taste, aesthetics, good craftsmanship and high quality.

For many years Xocolatl has built a strong position in the Danish market and today delivers to specialty shops, businesses and larger B2B customers. A large part of the business is seasonal, with particularly Christmas and Easter occupying a lot in product development, production and sales.

Creativity and product development are a central part of the company's DNA. Xocolatl continuously creates new products, gift concepts and customer solutions and is known for flexibility, high service level and the ability to translate ideas into finished products.

Xocolatl has for many years built a solid position in Danish specialty retail and now wishes to strengthen its presence and relationships with customers in Zealand.

The role

Xocolatl is looking for an independent sales agent for Zealand who can manage and develop sales to existing store customers as well as open doors to new ones. The agent will be Xocolatl's local outward-facing representative in the area.

The tasks

The most important tasks will be

• Visits and servicing of existing customers
• Presentation of news, seasonal assortments and campaigns
• Securing reorders and developing sales with each customer
• Prospecting sales and establishing new relevant customers
• Building strong and long-lasting customer relationships

In the long term, Southern Sweden could also become part of the geographic area.

The candidate

The ideal candidate already works as an agent in specialty retail in Zealand and has an existing customer portfolio. The person preferably represents products that complement chocolate, and has good business sense, a knack for upselling and the ability to create and maintain strong relationships.

• already run a fixed route in Zealand
• have an existing customer portfolio within specialty retail
• represent other relevant quality brands or products
• have good business sense and a knack for upselling
• are trustworthy, relationship-building and good at structured follow-up
• are eager to represent a Danish premium brand with focus on quality, design and good craftsmanship

Education

Relevant education, but experience and results are weighted higher than education.
