As a sales apprentice at BESTSELLER we ensure that you start well and develop yourself both personally and professionally. Here you undergo a practically oriented education that spans two years. You will join the sales team on a specific market at one of our brands, where the practical part of your apprentice education takes place.

Parallel to your job at one of our brands you will, together with BESTSELLER's other sales apprentices, undertake a theoretical training program consisting of a total of nine modules of one week's duration. Here you get the opportunity to improve in subjects such as product knowledge, personal selling, sales planning, international trade, space management, and more.

A day-to-day with exciting sales tasks and dedicated colleagues

The apprenticeship is a good stepping stone to a further career path, and if you are among the top apprentices, the path is laid for your career at BESTSELLER. During your education you will gradually take on more responsibility and more independent areas of work, where you will participate on equal terms with your colleagues. At the same time you will go on a one-week field trip to visit different customer types, including key accounts, online customers and own stores.

In parallel with the modules, a course at academic level is taken: Sales psychology and basic selling. The course ends with a separate exam at academic level. Here you earn 10 ECTS credits.

Your tasks may include

• Administrative support to the sales team
• Telephone sales to stores
• Order processing and follow-up on order and stock situation
• Distribution of goods to the stores
• Preparation of sales folders for the clothing collections
• Contact with the marketing department
• Assistance at sales events

To be considered as a sales apprentice, you must

• Have completed a qualifying upper-secondary education
• Good English skills in both written and spoken form and preferably additional language skills such as German, French, Spanish or Italian
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to handle sales tasks as well as administrative tasks
• Interest in and a sense for the latest trends and tendencies in the fashion world
• A personality that has a positive impact on your surroundings
• Desire to take independent responsibility

Recruitment process

We process applications and hire sales apprentices on an ongoing basis. Incoming applications will be screened centrally in HR, after which managers from BESTSELLER's sales departments will call for interviews and hire. The recruitment process can take up to 2-3 months.

Remember to include exam papers from your upper-secondary education.
