About the job
About CloZer
Local clothing stores are closing, because more and more clothes are bought online from foreign platforms. CloZer, a new startup, is turning that development around.
We gather the local stores' inventories in one app, so customers can shop at the stores from home - with delivery or click'n'collect. Think JustEat, but for clothing stores. Collectively the stores can match the foreign giants on selection and delivery times, and beat them on service.
We have shops and items on the platform and are ready for launch. Now we need more stores on board.
The job
You will be responsible for onboarding new stores. In practice
- You physically visit the stores and showcase the platform
- You book and hold meetings. Physical presence, phone and email are an important part of the job
- You help shape the sales strategy, not just execute it
- You participate in events and networking activities where it makes sense
You don’t start with a blank slate. We have researched the stores in Copenhagen and put them in our CRM with addresses, opening hours and contact info. Your time will be spent selling, not googling.
You will be trained by the two founders, who have themselves visited the stores, and you will collaborate with us on a daily basis. In a company of our size you can influence the direction far more than you can in a larger company.
Why stores say yes
The store pays no setup and no subscription. We only earn when the store sells something through the platform - so there is no risk for the store owner, and the conversation is easy to start.
Your task will be to find the stores where the platform will actually move revenue and get them on board.
About you
You do not need sales experience. You should be able to walk into a store you don’t know without it costing you anything - and you should be able to speak credibly and professionally with store owners and proprietors.
You speak and understand Danish, both orally and in writing. If you have tried prospecting sales before, that’s a plus, but the most important thing is that you are eager to try it.
Conditions
- Hours: 10 hours per week as a starting point, flexibly arranged. Work is between 10:00 and 18:00, because it follows the stores' opening hours, and weekends are a possibility. You have great freedom to schedule the hours around your studies or other activities.
- Salary: Fixed hourly wage.
- Transport: Transportation costs to/from stores are covered.
- Location: Copenhagen.
