Are you trained the old-fashioned way – also known as a paint dealer – or do you have solid experience with paint, colors, trends and home decor ?

Do you know that the right guidance is about much more than selling a can of paint? And can you meet customers eye to eye, identify their needs and help them safely reach their project goals?

At Thuesen Farver & Idéer A/S in Viborg we are incredibly busy and therefore are seeking yet another skilled employee for our modern home store.

We’re not just looking for a sales clerk. We’re looking for a SALESperson with a big S who is passionate about customers, guidance and good solutions.

MORE THAN JUST PAINT With us you work with much more than paint. Our customers come for solutions within, among other things, paint and colors, floors, tiles, curtains and home decoration.

Your most important task will be to provide both private and professional customers with competent, honest and personal advice .

DINE MOST IMPORTANT TASKS You will, among other things, be working with

• Sales and advice to private and professional customers
• Guidance on paint, colors, gloss, substrate and treatment
• Color selection, trends and solutions for the home
• Blending and tinting of paint
• Preparation of offers and follow-up with customers
• Advice and upselling across our product areas
• Ordering, receipt of goods and replenishment
• Keeping the shop inspiring and ready for sale

WHO ARE YOU? Perhaps you are a trained paint dealer. Perhaps you are a painter or have worked professionally with paint, colors, home decoration or sales in a relevant industry.

Your education is not necessarily decisive. Experience, personality and the ability to advise and sell weigh at least as highly.

We expect that you

• Have a natural sales instinct and follow a deal through to the end
• Are passionate about customer service and professional guidance
• Are outgoing, approachable and good with people
• Can translate the customer’s needs into concrete solutions
• Work independently and take responsibility
• Keep an overview when it’s busy
• Are practical and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Are a team player with an interest in colors and home trends
