About the job

A job where your impact is felt

A water damage, fire or mold damage rarely comes at a convenient time. When damage occurs, our task is to gain an overview, limit the damage and help the customer move forward.

We are now looking for a sanitation technician for our department in Langeskov, who would like to become part of a professionally strong team with a daily life where tasks vary, and where collaboration and integrity matter.

As a sanitation technician you are often among the first on site, and your contribution is therefore an important part of the overall solution for the customer.

About the job

As a sanitation technician at Ocab you work with many different types of damage restoration tasks for private individuals, businesses and other professional customers.

It is an active job where you use your body during the workday. Tasks may include handling and moving customers' furniture and belongings, just as you may work with industrial tasks and work at height.

Some tasks you solve independently, while others require close collaboration with colleagues and project managers. Common to them is that we must deliver a professional piece of work and create security for the customer throughout the process.

Your primary tasks

  • Exposure and demolition in connection with water damage
  • Mold remediation
  • Setting up and supervising dehumidification equipment
  • Documentation of tasks from start to finish
  • Participation in our 24/7 on-call schedule
  • Close collaboration with colleagues and project managers

Additionally you may also work with

  • Asbestos remediation
  • Remediation after pests
  • Cleaning and remediation after fire damage
  • Tidying and cleaning in connection with social cases

We envision that you

Your professional experience matters – but so does your personality.

We are looking for a colleague who takes responsibility, treats customers properly and wants to contribute to the community. You therefore do not need to know everything from your first day at work.

We would like you to

  • Have experience from damage restoration or a similar industry – experience with damage restoration is a clear advantage
  • Are in good physical shape and enjoy an active job where lifting and moving furniture and belongings can be part of the workday
  • Have an asbestos certificate or experience with asbestos remediation – an advantage but not a requirement
  • Are flexible and can keep an overview when today's plans change
  • Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
  • Are quality-conscious and take pride in delivering a good piece of work
  • Thrive on collaboration and help your colleagues when needed
  • Are comfortable working at height, as some of our tasks take place on ladders, lifts or other work platforms
  • Live within reasonable distance of our department in Langeskov
  • Speak and understand Danish
  • Have a driver's license (category B)

It is a prerequisite that you can present a criminal record.

We know that the right colleague can have different experiences and backgrounds. The most important thing for us is that you have the right attitude, take responsibility and want to learn.

We offer

  • Salary according to collective agreement
  • Pension and health scheme
  • 37-hour work week
  • Normal working hours Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00
  • Participation in 24-hour on-call duty

Workplace: Ocab Langeskov, Agertoften 1, 5550 Langeskov, Funen
