For a company in Hedehusene, ScanPeople is seeking a technical employee for a Try & Hire arrangement. You will become part of an informal and helpful team, where the workday includes, among other things, preparation, cleaning, inspection, maintenance and minor repairs of lifts and other equipment.

It is a position for someone who likes to work practically, takes responsibility for their tasks and has an eye for whether the equipment is ready and safe to send on to the next customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A large part of your workday takes place at the company's premises and workshop in Hedehusene. Here you and your colleagues ensure that the equipment is prepared, checked and maintained between rentals.

Your tasks will among other things include

• Washing and cleaning of lifts and other equipment
• Preparing equipment before rental
• Checking and topping up, among other things, oil and water
• Inspecting the equipment’s function and overall condition
• Ongoing maintenance and minor repairs
• Troubleshooting mechanical and technical problems
• Assessing whether the equipment is safe and ready for use
• Planned and unplanned service tasks at customers
• Other practical tasks in the workshop and on the yard

The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, so you must be prepared to work outside in varied weather. In connection with testing work, some tasks may take place at height, where a lift is used.

Safety naturally takes up a lot of space when working with lifts and machines. You must therefore be able to assess a task before you start, and respond if something does not look right or safe.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL BACKGROUND

You may have a background as, for example, a mechanic, truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, blacksmith or within another technical or craft area.

A skilled trade background is not a requirement. If you have years of practical experience with machines, vehicles, equipment or mechanics, your experience can be just as relevant.

• Have a driving licence and a forklift licence
• Are prepared to occasionally drive out to customers

The most important thing is not what title appears on your apprenticeship certificate or CV. What matters is that you have practical experience, technical understanding and can see what needs to be done to get the equipment ready and keep it in good and safe condition.

THE COMPANY OFFERS

You will become part of a workplace with an informal tone, where colleagues help each other and take responsibility for the tasks that need to be solved. The everyday life includes both fixed routines and tasks where you need to find a practical solution to a problem.

You will have a varied workday, working with preparation, maintenance and repairs. From time to time you will also go out in the service van to perform planned service or to solve a task at a customer.

There is a focus on proper work and on ensuring the equipment functions and is safe when leaving the site. At the same time there is a relaxed atmosphere in the workshop with room for humor and music during the workday.

The employment starts as a Try & Hire arrangement with a view to a permanent position.

Here you also receive a pension in accordance with the Industrial Agreement.
