At itm8 we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about building robust data foundations and translating complex needs into technical solutions that work in practice.

In our Business Intelligence team we work with some of Denmark's most ambitious companies and help them build data platforms that create insights, automation and new opportunities.

You will be part of a Business Intelligence team of 13 specialists, where professional sparring and knowledge sharing fill a large part of daily life. Here, both experienced architects, specialists and new talents work closely together, and you will have ample opportunity to influence both solutions, ways of working and the professional direction.

Your role

As a Senior Data Engineer you will have a central role in the development of modern data and analytics platforms. You work closely with both customers and colleagues and gain great influence over how solutions are designed and implemented.

You will among other things

• Design, develop and maintain data platforms in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, integration solutions and ELT processes.
• Work with data modeling, performance optimization and data processing in SQL and Python.
• Collaborate with customers on technical solutions and translate business needs into scalable architecture.
• Contribute to the development of our framework, best practices and new initiatives within AI.

Has solid experience with data engineering and thrives on taking responsibility for technical solutions from analysis to implementation. You work independently, take responsibility for your solutions and are motivated by being the person others turn to for professional sparring. Whether you already have an established senior profile or are ready to take the next step in that direction, is less important. The crucial thing is that you have the professional depth, curiosity and independence needed to create value for both customers and colleagues.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platforms or equivalent cloud-based data environments.
• Are strong in SQL and have practical experience with Python.
• Have worked with CI/CD, DevOps processes and modern data engineering principles.
• Are motivated by both technical immersion and the dialogue with customers and colleagues.
• Communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

The most important is not your education, but your experience, curiosity and ability to translate technology into solutions that create value.
