About the job

Do you want to take technical responsibility for electronics development in advanced robots and help develop the next generation of TinyMobileRobots' autonomous solutions?

From electronic design to finished robot solutions

You will become part of the Mechatronics team in R&D, where you work closely with specialists in electronics, mechanics and software. Here you will be responsible for developing robust and reliable electronic solutions for the company's autonomous robots used for marking sports fields and infrastructure projects worldwide – also under demanding conditions.

You will therefore have the opportunity to influence both the technical architecture and the solutions that will underpin future products.

Your primary tasks will be to

  • develop and design electronics for robot control and embedded systems, including microcontrollers, motor drivers, sensor interfaces, communication solutions and integration of industrial computer boards.
  • define electronics architecture in close collaboration with colleagues in the Mechatronics team.
  • develop design and validation criteria as well as tests, before the solutions are released to production.
  • define test requirements for production testing of electronic solutions.
  • collaborate with Product Management on requirement specifications and technical solutions.
  • participate in the entire development process from specification and design to implementation, testing and release.

You ensure that the technologies work together and meet the requirements for global certification, robustness and reliability, so that the solutions are ready for production and external partners.

Your workplace will be at TinyMobileRobots' headquarters in Malling south of Aarhus with the possibility of some days working from home.

Experienced electronics professional with technical overview and impact

You have a relevant bachelor- or master’s degree in electronics and at least five years of experience in electronics and hardware development from requirement specifications to a validated product that can be produced and used by customers.

You also bring

  • solid experience with electronics design, including schematic capture and preferably PCB layout.
  • experience defining validation criteria for hardware and embedded systems.
  • understanding of the interplay between electronics, software and mechanics.
  • experience with agile development methods and Scrum – an advantage, but not a requirement.

As a person you are

  • collaboration-oriented – you share your knowledge and work across disciplines to find the best solutions.
  • pragmatic and solution-oriented – you take ownership, create momentum and balance technical quality with the project's goals.
  • structured and detail-oriented – you follow tasks through to completion and ensure that the solutions are well developed and ready for handover.

You also understand that electronics must be part of a complete product that is both reliable and commercially sustainable. In addition, you speak and write English at a business level.

Technical influence and development of the next generation of robots

At TinyMobileRobots you will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology where electronics, robotics, positioning and mechanics converge in products used worldwide.

You will become part of a development team of eight colleagues and gain mutual professional sparring with the team leader, who himself has a background in Electrical Engineering. You will become a central professional resource in electronics – both in the team and across the organization.

You can also look forward to

  • a central role in the development of new robotic solutions with the opportunity to influence technical decisions.
  • a specialized development environment with close collaboration between R&D, Operations and Product Management.
  • an agile way of working with Scrum, professional discussions and continuous improvements.
  • a flexible and informal workplace with a focus on well-being.
  • good opportunities for both professional and personal development.
