Senior Manager for Data & AI Solutions - where technology meets social responsibility

As Senior Manager you will be responsible for driving the AI agenda and supporting a more efficient use of the power grid, which is an important prerequisite for the green transition.

You will be responsible for a team of specialists and will have a central role in driving the AI agenda from experiments to operation-ready solutions. We are looking for a leader with strong technical credibility who can ensure that data and AI create real value and ultimately enable the acceleration of the green transition.

Set the direction for Data & AI Solutions

As Senior Manager you will be responsible for the department “Data & AI Solutions”. Organizationally, you will be part of “Data & AI”. You will have personnel and professional leadership responsibility for data analysts, data scientists and AI developers and you will be responsible for ensuring that data and AI are translated into solutions that are actively used in the business.

The role combines leadership, technological insight and change management with a focus on delivering results through people, data and technology. As part of an agile setup you will work closely with specialists, product teams and the business on the development and implementation of new solutions.

Your main tasks

• Lead and develop the department's data analysts, data scientists and AI developers.
• Drive the AI agenda from theory and experiments to operation-ready solutions with real business value.
• Ensure that data analyses and insights are translated into decision-making material and action in the business.
• Collaborate with data scientists on solutions that support efficient utilization of the power grid and the green transition.
• Drive change management and ensure anchoring and use of data- and AI-solutions in the organization.

You also contribute to the strategy and roadmap for the digitalization department's data- and AI-efforts as well as recruitment and competency development in the department. In addition, you will be responsible for the budget for AI solutions and for the professional direction regarding methods, tools and standards in collaboration with the department's professional leads.

The position is based in Silkeborg. The department collaborates across several locations, and travel activity is to be expected primarily to Esbjerg and Aarhus.

You create results through technology, leadership and change

We are looking for a leader with a strong professional background in data and AI. You have hands-on experience implementing data- and/or AI-solutions and can establish credibility with both specialists and the business. You know how to translate complex technical possibilities into solutions that create value, while developing employees and ensuring organizational anchoring. You thrive in collaboration with management, product teams and subject-matter experts and can drive progress in an organization under development.

We would like you to have

• Documented hands-on experience in developing and implementing data- and/or AI-solutions actively used in the business.
• Leadership experience and experience delivering results through transformation and change.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure, Copilot, Fabric and Databricks.
• Experience working in agile delivery setups and delivering results through product teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and create alignment between technology and business.

It would be an advantage if you have experience with semantic models, MLOps, DataOps, generative AI, Power Platform, data governance or information security.
