In the Department of Ports and Marine Constructions we work with a project portfolio that includes port facilities, marine constructions, earthworks, etc.

You will experience that the green transition is an integrated part of our daily work. The port projects are expanded and transformed clearly as a result. We strive to create harbor environments that are recreational spaces – while at the same time being prepared to handle future needs and more extreme weather. Therefore you will also experience that we as a team work across the business and have the pleasure of collaborating with our skilled specialists, among others in geotechnics, coastal and climate protection, landscape architecture and energy.

Our port team is a large and capable team with many years of experience in ports and water construction. In other words, we have solid experience with concrete, steel and timber constructions in a marine environment. The team forms a unit that consistently demonstrates that Sweco is one of the leading consultants in ports and marine constructions in Denmark.

Currently we are seeking a Senior Project Manager for Esbjerg and Aarhus. A position where you will have a decisive responsibility for project execution locally, and at the same time have the opportunity to spar with experienced colleagues across the country. In addition, you will have the opportunity to shape our project pipeline and be directional for tenders in Esbjerg, Aarhus and surrounding areas.

About the position

As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, execution and supervision of projects within port and marine construction. You will lead interdisciplinary teams and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. At the same time you will collaborate closely with management and work on our business and market development within ports and marine constructions. Listed below are your primary tasks:

• Secure project execution from start to finish
• Leadership of cross-disciplinary teams
• Handling commercial interests
• Stakeholder Management
• Continuous optimization and development of our processes in close collaboration with our customers and partners

About you

The ideal candidate has solid experience with project management of interdisciplinary teams as well as preparation of tender materials. At the same time, we see that you are market-oriented and motivated to expand our customer base in Jutland. In addition we expect that:

• You can demonstrate relevant and high-quality previous projects
• You are good at collaborating with customers and have a large network in the industry that can be actively leveraged in developing our business
• You have good communication skills in both Danish and English, and you are a team player who can operate in a dynamic work environment with great diversity
